Refund policy

Last updated May 12, 2026

Film Blvd. wants you to be happy with the work we do. This Refund Policy explains when refunds are available and how to request one.

1. Before development begins

If you have placed an order but your film has not yet entered our development workflow, you may cancel the order for a full refund. Email hello@filmblvdlabs.studio with your order number as soon as possible. We will confirm whether development has begun.

2. After development begins

Once a roll has entered the development workflow, the development portion of the order becomes non-refundable. This includes chemical and labor costs we cannot recover.

3. Scanning issues

If you are not happy with the scans we delivered for any reason within our control (color balance, exposure interpretation, frame cropping, file format), let us know within 14 days of delivery. We will rescan the affected frames or rolls at no additional cost. If we are unable to resolve the issue, we will refund the scanning portion of the order for the affected rolls.

4. TIFF unlocks

TIFF unlocks are digital deliverables. Once a TIFF file has been unlocked and made available in your account, the charge is non-refundable. If a TIFF file is corrupted or fails to download, we will re-deliver it at no cost.

5. Damaged or lost film

If a roll is lost or damaged while in our possession, our liability is as described in our Terms of service: the replacement cost of one unexposed roll of comparable film stock, or the total amount you paid for services related to that roll, whichever is greater.

6. How to request a refund

Email hello@filmblvdlabs.studio with your order number and a brief description of what happened. We respond to refund requests within two business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe and typically appear in 5–10 business days.
